360 degree photos and video settings

What are the best recommend settings to take 360 degree photos and video using a single GoPro Hwro 5 camera,? I have a rotating mount but not sure what camera settings to use

As far as I know, you can’t take 360° video with any GoPro other than with their 360 camera or a mount that uses several cameras. And if you’re to use one camera for a 360 photo, you’ll have a lot of stitching to do.
