29.97fps or 30 fps?

Hi!
I just got the GoPro Session. When i set it to 30fps and import it to FCPX with video properties based on first videoclip the timeline will work at 29.97. Is this correct? Should i edit in 29.97 or set it manually to 30fps or does it even matter?

30fps will be 29.97 fps, 60fps will be 59.96fps. you should work with those settings, keeping it general.

you may at a given time have video & aud synch issues due to 30.0fps.

if you shot at 60fps and drop speed to a lower fps you'll get a slower video, but if you drop your render down you'll get the same speed and lesser fps..
