Leak issues with the GoPro?
Quite curious but has anybody had any leak issues with the GoPro? My camera got wet today even though it was in it's housing. Does GoPro warranty their housings?

Any more details?
I have not used mine in the water yet, only snow, but with most underwater housings for cameras, it is best to try them once or twice in the water and vigorously shake them and press all buttons etc.
I have had mine underwater with no problems. But one hair or one piece of sand or dirt will cause it to leak. I clean and double check the gasket ever time.
I havent had any issues with it getting wet but then again have only dunked it in the pool a few times.
Double check the gasket at the back and around the lens as well
Thanks for the tips guys. I'll remember it from now on!
BTW, I did a little googling and found this blog that might be helpful for those unfortunate. I posted this on a different post but so I answer this thread for those who had the same trouble I had...
I followed the steps from this site What to do when your GoPro Gets Wet | HD Video Camera and my gopro actually works. Like as if nothing happened. I recorded in all modes, video, photos, R1 to R5, and uploaded data to computer... Still the same high HD quality. As if nothing happened. Wow!
But thanks for the tips anyways!!!
Great find, that will surely help future users who are unfortunate enough to experience a wet GoPro
I am on my second camera and will NOT be purchasing another one. My second camera leaked with a new case and clean seal on its second dive. GoPro will not warranty a wet camera even though they supply the faulty case with the camera in the same box at purchase. The depth rating is irrelevant if not backed up by warranty. I hear Sony makes a decent action action camera with a reliable case. Maybe I'll try that next.
I've had mine in the wave pool at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon with no leaks; can't think of a more rigorous underwater test since I don't scuba dive.

Used mine for many hours last week in a saltwater pool. Washed it under the tap afterwards to remove any salt - no issues here.
