Thanks for the welcome AJ, and yes i did tell them i wanted 24. I think Gopro are growing at such a rate and now have real financial backing that they are forgetting their customers. No doubt they will get it right but it may take some time.

Lucky for you, I have emails them several times and even as a sponsored rider of GoPro they still don't return my calls or emails even when disusing my contract and issues..

So far I am very, very disapointed with the GoPro service center.
I purchanced two GoPros recently. One died after its second use - one and a half hours of video in one day! The camera is in its waterproof case and is brand new but will not power on. I've tried changing batteries between cameras and that did not help.
I emailed support twice and other than an automated reply from their customer care system (saying I should expect being contacted within 48 hours) I get nothing in over a week waiting.

I had a reply, the first line saying
"I do want to apologize for the delayed responses. We've been getting a lot of emails after the holiday period, and have been trying to reply as quickly as possible, but response times have been much longer than usual. I appreciate your patience."

I can totally see the response times going down after the holidays. The GoPro camera was probably one of the most popular gifts during the Christmas season.GoProFanatics.com Admin

For a delayed Christmas present, my wife wanted me to get another GoPro camera. I don't need all the bells and jangles of the higher end models, so another HERO 960 would have been just fine by me. The price of them was reduced at Christmas and still holds. Any rate, we went to two different Best Buy stores and neither one had the HERO 960 in stock. Even the other models were skimpy on the shelves at each store. Looks like someone had a good Christmas in sales, judging by that. It was interesting looking about at the stores, as I got to listen in to some of the sales guys making pitches to answer some potential buyer's questions. That was a bit funny, as they didn't really seem overly informed about all that much on the GoPros they were selling. We left without any and I am really trying to decide if I actually need the second GoPro or not. It is about time to replace the old Canon I have and pick up a really thin and light point and shoot or such. Hope they don't drop the 960 model anytime soon.A bird is just a bird and a cat is just a cat, but a dog is HUMAN...
